That's always good to get more back. I have been in our credit union since 1970 (before I was married), it was originally a company credit union but after a series of mergers is open to the public. They have been very good to us over the years.

Sushi night last night...was pretty good this time, though the place we go to is pretty cheap. School is almost over so no more school ones until fall....oh well. My friend and I will go to better ones on own our during the 'off season' from school.....

Well she loved flowers when she was living, so I see no reason why she wouldn't now.

Sad to hear that Rocky.
My brothers and I pooled our cash together and got our mom a nice hand bag.
This might be shot in the dark but does anyone here have any experience in building a garden retaining wall against a wooden fence? I'm planning on filling in the the area enclosed by the wall with soil, but I don't know if the soil will rot the wooden fence away.

it depends on if the wood has been treated or not....if not it will eventually rot, you can always just do a complete circle around the bed with the rocks/cement blocks etc you will be using for the front if you are really worried. (I watch too many pbs programs--now home&garden tv programs).
THOUGH I would ASSume that if the fence was made to be put in the ground it SHOULD be treated-----

I'm gonna go wake up early and make some Monkey Bread (nom), fruit and an English Muffin sandwich for my Mom. Got her a nice card as well.

That is true ET. That is probably the deepest thing I have ever heard you say tbh.
I'm going out with my mom and family for dinner tonight. GF gets to come too, guess after 3 years my parents consider her part of the family?

lol Ya, it's sad that we have been dating for longer than some people stay married. Also a lot of people get engaged after a year if not sooner, also sad. But whatever.

we got engaged within 3 months of dating and married just within 1 year of dating. But then again, we were best friends for almost 3 years before we started dating. The day after tomorrow (May 11) we'll be married 14 years now.

Wow, grats on that Tharg. We knew each other for about 6 months before we started dating. I haven't dated anyone who I was friends with for years before. Usually they are someone that I meet and hung out with for a few months with the intent of dating.
